The Criminal / Traffic Division of the Clerk of Court's Office is responsible for processing over 92,000 criminal and traffic charges per year. The Division collected $4,665,300.82 in 2004, $2,709,480.86 of which was deposited into the City of Toledo’s General Fund.

The Clerk's Office records case information for the public record and maintains the court's docket. The office also assists the public, attorneys and law enforcement agencies that use the services of the court.
